Mullein (verbascum thapsus) Medicinal use.
Mullein leaves contain large amounts of mucilage, which has been found to soothe mucus membranes and has shown to be anti-inflammatory.
The leaves of this wild plant can be made to make medicinal teas for treatment of chest colds, asthma, bronchitis, coughs, kidney infections, diarrhea, dysentery. The leaves have also been used to make poultices, to treat ulcers, tumors and hemorrhoids. The leaves can be soaked in oil to make ear drops for curing earaches and killing ear mites.
The product medi-mullein is 100% dried wild harvested mullein leaf. The dried leave, when smoked will relieve asthma, spasmodic coughing (smokers cough) and fevers.
